Office Depot Europe completes rollout of SAP Commerce Cloud in Belgium and Luxembourg in alignment with its Viking+ Programme
Office Depot Europe has completed the rollout of SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly Hybris) in Belgium and Luxembourg, following its implementation in Austria, Germany, Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands. Through this step, Office Depot Europe has modernised its customer e-commerce experience in six of its seven core markets. Switzerland, the last of the core markets, will follow later this year.
Cameron Black, Head of Technology & Data says: “The rollout of Belgium and Luxemburg is an important achievement in our Viking+ journey – it takes us closer to having a single web shop for all of our customers and closer to migrating our customers onto that web shop.”
The rollout of SAP Commerce Cloud is a key element of the company’s Viking+ Programme, allowing Office Depot Europe to simplify and modernise its IT landscape, improve the customer shopping experience and introduce additional services. This goes alongside a fresher look and feel and improved search functionality.
The enhanced e-commerce platform will allow Viking to deliver on its customers’ needs and to provide an excellent customer journey and scalable experience for customers of any size.
