Office Depot first entered the Swedish market in 2004 through a strategic alliance with AGE Kontor & Data AB. In 2008, Office Depot acquired AGE Kontor & Data AB which added 13 retail stores and a contract business to the Company’s global footprint.
In March 2011 Office Depot acquired Svanströmsgruppen. This enables Office Depot to continue to grow its European business and positions the Company as one of the leading multi-channel office supply companies in Sweden.
Office Depot and Svanstroms provide more than 6 500 products in over 50 stores, together with contract sales and a webshop. Our multiple channels serve customers across all industry segments, including some of Sweden’s best known and multinational companies.
