The Shared Service Center (SSC) in Cluj-Napoca was opened in October 2007 with the purpose of supporting back-office financial operations of the Company across Europe. Since June 2008, we are located in Iulius Business Center, one of the newest and most modern office buildings in the city. Our staff consists of several hundred associates, who are working in multiple teams to support 11 countries in 6 languages. This SSC is the first of its kind Office Depot has opened in the world and it is, for the time being, the only office the company has in Romania.
