Since November 2010 the company has operated a license agreement with New Hamashbir for the Office Depot branded retail stores and other Office Depot businesses in Israel. Under this agreement the new owner of these retail activities has been granted the rights to use the name “Office Depot Israel” and to sell Office Depot products in the country, in consideration for quarterly royalty payments. The main operations of Office Depot Israel include the retail sale of home-use and office-use electronic products, office appliances and furniture. In addition, Office Depot Israel sells study books in its branches and provides office services to private customers. The Company also services small and medium businesses with office supplies through a customer service center which deals with telephone and internet orders and through sales representatives that deal with large business customers and strategic contracts.
